Explore the Mountains: Guided Day Hikes

Not from here and want the beta from an experienced guide? Or are you a frequent flier to the mountains but want the confidence to plan bigger trips on your own? Join us for a guided day hike with a certified Wilderness First Responder as your guide in the mountains and take the stress out of your day in the hills. You can pick their brain on all things logistics from choosing the objective that best suits your needs to route finding including water sources, map and compass skills and the best way to layer and pack your backpack. If you’re also looking to take the thought and planning out of the day and enjoy time outside with good people; reach out!

Rock 201: Learn to Fly

Ready to take your climbing to the next level and spread those climbing wings and fly? Let’s get specific with learning the nuances between sport climbing and trad climbing. With the venue best suited for your day, you will learn how to place traditional climbing gear and build anchors. You can have the opportunity to learn how to rappel and take your single pitch climbing into the multi pitch realm.

This program is meant to teach intermediate climbers and budding leaders the how to, the whys and the why nots of outdoor climbing.

Our Rock 101 or previous climbing experience is required for this intermediate course.

Rock 101: Rock the Basics

Welcome to our Intro to Outdoor Climbing program. Never climbed outside or at all? This full day program gives you the outline on everything you need to know to get started in the world of outdoor rock climbing. Our day will consist of top rope climbing in the venue best suited for our day. We will cover everything from putting on harnesses and tying in with knots to movement techniques and belaying.
